It was a very strange situation, the woman who was about to grasp the reigns of Scotland’s leading political party had just finished taking questions from a jam packed audience at Dumfries’ Easterbrook Hall.
Questions had come on all topics including the NHS, education and Trident, there had even been questions from a man dressed as Frankenstein ( it was Halloween after all ).
I was nervous, this was a big deal. Nicola Sturgeon was being given rock star like receptions wherever she had appeared. She had already filled the SEC Hydro and now she was getting set to sit down with me.
